My partner and I have been coming here for years. Family have rented the upstairs for a baby shower. We were here 6 months ago. I don't remember some of the charges that are now in place. $1 for a refill on soda. $1 refill for peach tea. Regular tea is still free refill. Our server neglected to mention that bread is $3 now. Not free like before. Nor did they mention that the olive oil previously provided without charge is now $3. I can appreciate times are tough for restaurants. They way to keep people coming back in my opinion is that you avoid telling people about prices on things that used to be free until after they've been delivered. My partner had the submarine sandwich. They said it was ok but mostly bread and cheese very little meat. For $14, you'd think there'd be a little more meat. I had the chicken parmesan sandwich. The chicken was chewy and crunchy at the same time. The chicken wasn't raw or undercooked. There in my opinion shouldn't be crunchiness to chicken. I'm not talking about the breading which slipped right off. The chicken was a decent size in relation to the bread. I have no problem paying for extras as long as I know beforehand and not after. Tell me why I love Capparelli’s on Main. It’s my go to place for lunch. They have great lunch specials and the always bring bread to the table to start. My fav server Meg is the best and she always gives us the best service ever. You have to try the meatballs , they are out of this world 10/10. The personal pizza is just the right size for a meal and they never skimp on the toppings. I also love the Chicken Piccata for dinner. It’s definitely top 5 piccata’s in the city. If you’re in midtown area, you gotta check out Capparelli’s on Main.

Several of us ordered multiple pizzas, they were great. Fettuccine Alfredo, chicken piccata, chicken pesto were good. Service was great.

We had such a great experience here. The Caesar salad was fresh, crisp, and had the perfect balance of dressing, Parmesan, and croutons. Every bite tasted fresh. The pizza was probably the cheesiest I've had in a long time. The crust was baked perfectly with just the right amount of crispness. We ordered the pepperoni pizza for the kids, but after seeing the specialty pizzas, I'm definitely coming back to try one of those next time. The lasagna tasted homemade, like something you'd find in Italy. It was rich, flavorful, and comforting. One thing you absolutely have to order is the dipping oil. It was fresh, fragrant, and full of garlic and herbs. Dipping the warm bread into it was one of my favorite parts of the meal. I could honestly make a lunch out of just the bread, dipping oil, a little Parmesan cheese, and some crushed red pepper. The service was excellent. Our waiter stayed on top of everything and made sure we had everything we needed without us ever having to ask. The staff was also very kind and accommodating with our autistic son, giving him a little space when he needed to get some energy out. That meant a lot to us. Sensational experience. A friend of mine who lives in a nearby neighborhood took me to this place saying it’s one of their top spots. When we sat down, I overheard people from another table saying they visited this restaurant multiple times. After dining here, I can certainly see why. Capparelli’s fully excels in giving the classic Italian restaurant experience. The nailed the inside decor/ambience, the service is excellent, the food is flavorful and made fresh, and the wines are exquisite. Parking is somewhat limited, but they do curbside pickup if you call ahead and make your order. Though I strongly recommend the sit down experience, you will not be disappointed.
